Beach to Battleship

6 of us have rented a 37' RV and are driving from Ontario, Canada to do this race, and have a vacation. Wondering if there are going to be any post race festivities, official or unofficial. We want to celebrate finishing by drinking a lot of beer, and having some fun.

We are considering hosting a party at our RV, but would like to know if there is going to be anything else.

I don't know of an official party afterwards, but I will surely come drink a beer with you! After all, I train with 2 Canadians and speak Canadian quite well. Eh?

it may take me all 17 hours to finish but i'm definitely up for a drink after, I'm trying to cut it down now so by then I'll need one!!

I agree with BillH, I'm definitely up for a cold beer following the race. Just look for the 37ft RV with the rowdy canadians??? Sounds like a plan. Best of luck to you guys!

just look for me to be crawling across the finish line at just before midnight, and after i pass out across the line, just pour a beer in my mouth that should revive me, forget the gatorade or water or IV that I may need, just beer!!

Alright, Guys. Where are the party details? Do you have the stripper pole ordered yet?

Well, the only issue being that we are staying at the KOA, and I don't think they will want the party that we plan on having.

We are working on it.

Stripper pole is being installed as we speak, along with the DJ booth.

YAY!!!! Fellow Cauncks!!! I'll be sure to bring down some good ole Canuck beer from my hometown. let me know where to bring it.

Alright all, time for an update.

We are staying at the local KOA, so I'm not sure how well that will tolerate a party. WE are however interested in having the party SOMEWHERE.

We will all be wearing sombreros at some point during the festivities.. if you see one of us, introduce yourself and we'll make it happen.

i'm local and i'm ready to party. i'll byo sombrero. my number is 910-617-2224. sounds good, i just ordered a snack tray and i'm planning on leaving my car at battleship. downtown is right there and there are the best bars there.... hope to see you there!!
