Race day weather

Postby cycletodd on Wed Oct 28, 2009 3:32 pm

According to Accuweather, the forcast for the race is Sunny and upper 70's. :D
Moderate winds later in the day. :| Might be a headwind coming back in on th bike.
Water temps today are hovering around 70 degrees, so things look really good right now.
Fingers crossed.

What I'm seeing from Yahoo weather (which shows up to Friday, the day before race day) is upper 60's for highs. Still not bad, but not upper 70's for sure. Although the weather around here has been changing daily, yesterday it was overcast with slight rain and 66, today it was very sunny and 83. So it would be a good idea to check it daily and more often as we get closer to race time!

FYI. I compared the 2 sites for the days just prior to see how close they were to each other, and they were only off by 3 or 4 degrees, with Yahoo weather being the lowere of the 2 sites.
